INSPIRED BY A FEELING

The vision for Royal Blu started in an unexpected place—a film. One scene featured a beautifully moody blue bathroom, and something about it immediately stuck with us. It felt bold, intimate, and dramatic, and we knew we wanted to recreate that feeling in our own home.

Finding the blue became a project of its own. We purchased more than 10 paint samples, testing each one in different lighting until we found the shade that came closest to the color and mood we had fallen in love with.

From there, the room evolved with Mediterranean and Spanish influences, warm brass, natural textures, aged finishes, and functional details. The result is a space that feels dark and dramatic, yet comes alive in the morning light.

& REMEMBER, LIGHTING CHANGES EVERYTHING.

It’s bold. It’s moody. And somehow, it’s become the best place in the house for a morning shower—to wake up, reset, and feel a little powerful.
